Speech Therapy

Speech language pathologists play an integral role in supporting a child’s development of functional communication skills. Whether they are addressing sign language with an emerging talker, or focusing on articulation with a teenager, the goal of speech therapy is to promote successful communication. Our speech language pathologists are skilled in addressing various communication needs presented in children from early infancy to early adulthood. Communication can occur through an augmentative form (sign language, utilization of pictures, communication devices), as well as through the use of body language and facial expressions. The number of communication concerns that can present themselves are vast, ranging from concerns in the area of language, receptive and expressive, as well as speech, articulation and stuttering. Our speech pathologists can complete a comprehensive assessment to determine the needs of your child
